Groovy Commercial: Ferris Bueller is alive and well and driving a Honda
To promote their new 2012 CR-V, Honda has brought back actor Matthew Broderick in an amusing Super Bowl ad spoofing his 1986 John Hughes comedy, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Almost two million people have watched it since it was posted on YouTube last week - but over 1,500 have disliked it because they were hoping for an actual sequel or feel the commercial has somehow tarnished the beloved original. Oh please, get a sense of humor, people. At least Ferris Bueller hasn't returned as a shitty remake like 2004's The Stepford Wives or 2008's The Women. Now that would be something to bitch about.
